Fixing an Antique Akai component system

We have an antique component. It's brand name is AKAI. It was bought last January 19,1979 and It was still in good condition. During those days CD's and DVD's are not yet popular there were no compact component or sound system that we already see this days. All of the components during that time has a very huge casings and most of them were made of wood. I still remember the price, it cost 4000.00 pesos. Big Plaques were the one being used for inserting the table spin from the popular singers during those times. We had a lot of plaques, I remember we have Paul Ankas, Victor wood, Eddie Perigrina albums, Perri Como, and the like. This morning , my mom asked me to check the antique component if it is still working. I immediately check its IC's and wiring. I found a lot of things that need to be fix because some wiring's were already cut due to rats activity. There were busted bulbs and fuses so I quickly went to Hardware to buy those things. As I replace all the busted fuses, one of the IC's spark and one of the fuses spark that's why I still need to buy a new IC for the component. Maybe by tomorrow, I can finish fixing this antique component for I still need to buy an IC.
