After a melamine scare over milk products from China, Customs authorities are now on the lookout for toys imported from China with high lead content in their paint.Radio dzBB reported Monday that Manila port collector Horacio Suansing said they are monitoring toys in particular because of the high demand for it during the Christmas season.Suansing noted a similar scare last Christmas over high lead paint content in toys made in China. The high lead paint content prompted US firms to recall some toys made in China.He said Customs authorities will block the entry of such toys with high lead content in paint.
