Davao City is having their annual festival called "Kadayawan". It is celebrated every third week of August. There are a lot of participants coming from the different government sectors and some are from the private organizations. Ficsmin is the mother organization of the four respected horticulture groups namely the Minfed ( The Mindanao Federation), The OSD (Orchid Society of Davao, The FIDI The floricultural Industry of Davao Incorporated and lastly the Bonsai Society of Davao. These groups exibit their plant items in the exhibit area where gardeners and plant enthusiast are present to buy their chosen items. kadayawan is one great affair in Davao. It was said to be the festival of all festivals. Right now, gardeners from different places in Davao gathered together to trade show their beautiful plant materials at the back of SM Davao that is located along Quimpo Boulevard. To all plant enthusiast and plant collectors you can now visit them in the said place. I am pretty sure you will discover more of the Davao's wonderful products.
