Philippine Actor Rudy "Daboy" Fernandez died of cancer

Philippine actor Rudy Fernandez died yesterday at exactly 6:15 saturday morning at his home in Joeylane Street in White Plains in Quezon City due to periampullary cancer. He was 56. Fernandez succumbed aftera two-year battle with periampullary cancer. He is survived by his wife, actress Lorna Tolentino and their children Renz Marion and Raphael. Fernandez also has a son with ex-wife Alma Moreno, actor Mark Anthony Fernandez. He is a great loss to the movie industry. Let’s pray for his soul. He is one of the great assets of the Philippine movies, not only of Movie Actors Guild of the Philippine movie industry in itself.
