Titanic artifacts to be sold at auction

A collection of artifacts owned by a survivor of the Titanic is to be sold at auction this month in England. The collection includes a ticket for the ill-fated voyage and a pocket watch reported to have stopped at the exact time the ship sank. The items belonged to Lillian Asplund, the last American survivor of the disaster, who died in 2006, aged 99.Asplund was 5 in April 1912, when the Titanic hit an iceberg and sank on its maiden voyage from England to New York. Her father and three siblings were among 1,500 people who died. The collection will be sold at Henry Aldridge and Sons in the western England town of Devizes on April 19. It is expected to fetch between 80,000 pounds and 120,000 pounds ($160,000 and $240,000; €100,000 and €150,000). A lot of interested antique collectors are very much interested in buying it because items from Titanic Ship is considered to be very valuable thing. Most of the passengers of that titanic ship are considered to be rich and wealthy family. Until now, you can still hear the actual recorded reports. I myself search for that actual voice reports after I finished viewing the famous Titanic movie played by Leonardo de Caprio and Kate Winslet. Voice reports are made by the radio reporter during that time. I heard those reports through my Encarta software.
