Filipinos are experiencing inflation rates

I watched TV reports awhile ago and there are reports regarding the prime commodities price hike. It was said in the report that prices go high due to shortages in the supply of rice but what I noticed is that it is not only rice that price goes up but it's all the commodities went up, like the bread is increase by 1 peso per item and the corn grits from 14 pesos to 28 pesos and the rice from its original price of 22 to 25 pesos per kilo now is from 28 to 38 price per kilo. It gives more burden to most of the Filipino who belongs to the poor sectors and the depressed communities. The government should do something to stop the inflation rates of the commodities to make the economy more stable. I hope and pray that this inflation rates that the Filipinos are experiencing right now is just a temporary thing and everything will be back to normal prices as soon as possible.
