Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee have filed divorce due to “irreconcilable differences.” Both have asked for denial of spousal support — well at least they agree on that — but are now competing for custody of their kids, Ming, 8, and Aoki, 5.Initially Simmons said, “Kimora and I will remain committed parents and caring friends with great love and admiration for each other.” Now, however, Kimora’s insisting that his “reasonable visitation rights” always be accompanied by security personnel. Uhm, in what universe does respect require armed guards? This is like the story of Britney Spears who is also fighting for her kids custody. It is really difficult if both partners who were married go on separate ways. It has a big effect to the kids because they will suffer trauma due to chaotic situation that they are experiencing.
