A Car With An International Parts and Accesories

The Toyota 12R engine of my pick up is not performing very well. It is an old engine that I inherited it from my father but when it come to its performance, I can say that it is still in good condition because I make sure that proper maintenance is given to it. Today, I will perform an engine tune-up for my old engine. I will set its valve clearance to 8mm for the intake valve and 12mm for the exhaust valve clearance. That is the original specification for the Toyota 12R engine. Toyota is a brand name of a car that is made from Japan but I can say that this car is an international car. Why do I said so?, OK, here is my incredible explanation. Since the owner of the car is a Filipino and Filipinos are known to be very creative and always find a way on how to make things cheaper than the brand new one. This car has an international parts because all parts comes from a different brands. The make of the car is pick-up type and it has a Toyota 12 R engine but has a different. transmission. It has a dry type of ignition coil from honda mounted into the side of the engine. It has a Dyna transmission with Toyota Bel housing on it. Its propeller shaft is fabricated allowing its splines to fit with the transmission shaft splines at the end. It has also a different differentials because the back differential is an RN10 type of Toyota but the front is for the 2 wheel drive differential. The front differential housing gear carrier is cut using acetylene to give way for the Mitsubishi canter 4 holes radiator brackets. Let's go to its brake system, the pick up has its jeep type of brake cylinders with steel and copper tubing for its brake lines.
It has a #16 rim for its wheel with BKT tires that is made from china. The headlights are from the Zebra model with jeep park lights. The head grills are fabricated just to match with the design as a whole. The tail lights are from the KC 20s with plate lights that is for the jeep. All wirings are made conventionally with fuse box. Filipinos are really very creative that Americans and other leading car manufacturers are amaze of what Filipinos can do just to utilize its resources. By the way I forgot to mention that Philippines has a lot of surplus car parts and engines from Japan that is why a lot of Filipinos created this way.
