Gifts are distributed by Santa , but do you know Who Santa Claus really is?

Merry Christmas!!!!!!
We already know a lot about Santa Claus, so let's turn things around and take a look at the original Saint Nicholas. He must be pretty busy, too, since he's the patron saint of children, sailors, merchants,Greece, and Russia. He lived in the 4Th century A.D. and was bishop of Myra, in asia minor. There are many stories about his generosity. Perhaps the most famous concerns a man too poor to give his three daughters the dowries they needed in order to get married. One night Saint Nicholas secretly left a large bag of gold coins in their house- which also made him the patron saint of single girls! In the Netherlands and Belgium, It is still Sinter Klaas (with his assistant Black Peter) who brings gifts to children on his day, December 6. The Dutch first brought the saint to America, where his name slowly changed from Sinter Klaas to Santa Claus.
